About Us

Who We Are

Inclusive Canada Foundation is a nonprofit society serving communities across Canada. Building inclusive communities through sports, education, health, and culture.

Our Story

Our work began with sport.

Inclusive Canada Foundation is a nonprofit society serving communities across Canada. Our work began through inclusive sport and has grown into a broader four-pillar model focused on sports, education, health, and culture.

Through LMS Canada and LWS Canada, our flagship sports initiatives, we have seen how cricket and community sport can reduce isolation, create leadership pathways, support newcomers, and build belonging across cultures.

Today, the foundation uses that experience to support inclusive communities through programs that connect participation, mentorship, wellness, and cultural integration.

Background

From sport to a four-pillar community model

In 2021, through the Government of Canada REO program, we launched our first newcomer cricket initiative in Surrey, BC. That first year supported over 40 newcomers through organized cricket, creating a platform for cultural exchange and community engagement.

Sport revealed a broader truth: to truly include someone, you need to address language barriers, financial constraints, social isolation, and skill development all at once. That insight became the foundation of our four-pillar model.

Today, LMS Canada has grown across Surrey, Vancouver, Burnaby, Victoria, Toronto, and other communities, with over 1,700 participants and player registrations to date.
